BANDIT (Now Bennett) UPDATE FOR ALL FROM HIS NEW MAMA!
I thought I’d send an update on Bennett aka bandit for all the people that helped with the costs of the amputation.
3 months in, Bennett is thriving. He loves to go on lot of walks, we get 15,000 – 20,000 steps a day.
He’s made some new dog friends, but it’s still shy when meeting new people and dogs. We’re doing a lot of positive reinforcement training backed up with lots of treats.
Recently, Bennett has instituted a belly rub tax for when I walk past. He has a lot of loving to catch up on, and I’m game to give it.
Bennett’s brother and sister, Momo & Lester, are getting along great and Lester is helping Bennett learn to enjoy time backyard.
We recently learned lay down and how to pay ball. We don’t get it every time, but it’s coming!
