Prescription Policy
Don’t wait until your pet runs out of their prescription medication!
You may request a refill online or by call and/or text. We kindly ask that you allow us 24 hours to fulfill refill requests. Our doctors must approve requests, and then our technicians fill medications in between appointments. Let us know if you would like to be contacted when your pet’s refill is ready. Call us at (541) 386-6658 with any questions.
By Oregon law, a licensed veterinarian must have a valid Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship with you and your animal in order to provide veterinary services. A valid VCPR cannot be established online, via e-mail, or over the phone. It can only be established by a veterinarian performing a physical examination of your animal within the last year and is personally acquainted with the care of the animal by virtue of a physical examination of the animal or by medically appropriate and timely visits to the premises where the animal is kept.

Appointment Policy
As the demand for exceptional veterinary care continues to grow in our community, it remains our commitment to provide the best service and thorough medical care to meet the needs of our growing Alpine family.
To honor this commitment and provide our patients with the time and availability they deserve, we ask all clients to arrive by their scheduled appointment time. This allows our team to focus on each pet, their needs, and the high-quality medicine we strive to perform each day. Please note if you arrive 10 minutes or more past your scheduled appointment time, you may be asked to reschedule.
Thank you for your understanding as we grow together!
Emergency cases always receive top priority, which can cause the occasional appointment delay. We do our very best to see every client and patient on time.
For your convenience, we do offer drop-off appointments to our clients.
We make every effort to make our clients and patients feel at ease during their time here. Some pets may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings, and other pets. For the safety of everyone, we require you to bring your pet in on a leash or in a carrier before entering our lobby.
Compassionate Care
At Alpine Veterinary Hospital, we strive to be there for our patients when they need reliable, compassionate care.
Being a pet owner is about so much more than just opening your home to an animal. It’s about boisterous greetings and snuggles on the couch after a long day. It’s about chin scratches and belly rubs, treats, and toys. Most of all, it’s about sharing your heart and learning what unconditional love and unwavering loyalty truly feel like. At Alpine Veterinary Hospital, we understand the deep connection you share with your best four-legged friend. We know that they are more like a family member than merely a pet because we are pet parents just like you. We know first-hand all of the ups and downs of pet ownership. It’s the personal experiences with animals that make our care so unique. When you trust us with the well-being of your pet, you’ll get more than just a doctor for your pet. You’ll get warm greetings by name, honest, open communication, and a partnership that includes you as part of your loved one’s healthcare team. You will also get the peace of mind that comes with knowing that we adore your furry friend just as much as you do. That’s something you simply won’t receive anywhere else. Our goal is to become your trusted resource, delivering all your pet care needs in one convenient location.
