Rachal began her career here at Alpine in early 2016. Rachal began as a receptionist and advanced her learning to obtain the role of Inventory Purchasing and Technician. Her passion for animals started at a young age by helping with lambing at her family's farm. In High School she started her own sheep breeding project with the help from her parents and FFA Advisors. Her main goal was concentrating on genetics and producing quality lambs for local 4-H and FFA kids. She won many awards, lasting life lessons, hard work, dedication and animal husbandry. Years later she volunteered for The Gorge Hero’s Club. The team sent many care packages all over the world to deployed Soldiers and became pen pals with many of them over the years. Helping bring a little piece of home to wherever they may be was such a blessing. Her love for being a part of something bigger than herself led her to volunteer at a local Fire Department. She took many classes to obtain her Firefighter/ EMT and has been helping her community for the last 15 years. Outside of work you can find her spending time with her family, snuggling her old dog Ruger, crocheting and rockhounding with her daughter and husband. Being outside with her family is her happy place.

Shortly after her family’s move back to the Gorge, she started her career here with us in April of 2021. She currently is working part time so she can stay home with her little girl part time as well. Growing up, you could often find Jodee on her horse whether it was on a trail behind her home in Husum, or any rodeo across the PNW. She fell in love with the sport of rodeo at a young age, and found barrel racing in particular to be her passion. Animals, especially horses, have always held a special place in her heart and she feels lucky to have had that lifestyle growing up. She now is very happy that she gets to enjoy working here, where everyone shares the same love for animals that she has.
