Birch Vorron CVT

Birch Vorron is a Certified Veterinary Technician with the Hood River Alpine Veterinary Hospital. As an experienced technician of ten years, she has enjoyed the challenge of working at a large animal practice for the first time.

The vast diversity of patients and new experiences at the clinic has made her work at Alpine quite professionally rewarding. Alpine Veterinary Hospital is fortunate to have such skills available for the care of our patients in the greater Gorge Community.

In 2000, Birch moved to Oregon from Wisconsin. She excelled at several veterinary clinics in Portland before finding a home in the Gorge. Birch earned her Associate Degree in Applied Science at Mount Hood Community College in 2004. She continued her education specific to the veterinary field by earning certification as a veterinary technician in 2005 and regularly updates her skills with courses on the latest in veterinary science.

Birch spends her spare time with her three adopted geriatric dogs and a cat. She has recently added chickens to the crew. Birch served as a delegate to Hood River’s sister city Tsuruta, Japan, in 2004 and enjoys creating art- having shown her work in several venues in the Gorge.
